While Jurassic Park: Survival won’t be making an appearance at Gamescom 2025, Saber Interactive has dropped an all-new behind-the-scenes featurette giving fans a closer look at the game’s development. The video reveals how the team is working with NBCUniversal to faithfully recreate Isla Nublar as it appeared in the original 1993 film and expand it with new locations and surprises.
Set one day after the events of Jurassic Park, the single-player action-adventure puts players in the role of Dr. Maya Joshi (voiced by Payal Mistry), an InGen scientist stranded on the island after the evacuation. Blending first-person stealth with moments of intense action, the game challenges players to outwit, evade, and survive some of the most dangerous predators in cinematic history.
A Fully Realized Isla Nublar
Saber Interactive promises a deeply immersive experience, meticulously rebuilding the park’s iconic landmarks from the towering gates to the Visitor Center alongside brand-new areas never seen before. The island’s dinosaurs are brought to life with painstaking attention to their movement, behavior, and screen-accurate designs.
The game’s open environments are filled with reactive wildlife, environmental hazards, and plenty of cinematic nods to the film that started it all.
Stealth, Survival, and Split-Second Decisions
In Jurassic Park: Survival, players will need to rely on stealth, distraction tactics, and environmental problem-solving to stay alive, with each encounter offering multiple solutions. Whether slipping past a stalking Velociraptor or outsmarting a curious Brachiosaurus, every choice will shape the way the story unfolds.
