Sanrio fans have plenty to celebrate this month, as Hello Kitty Island Adventure kicks off its annual Spooky Celebration and rolls out a brand-new content update for Apple Arcade players with Update 2.10: “City Splendor.” The event and update are also coming soon to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
Spooky Celebration & Fall Fashion Frenzy Return
Witches, vampires, and ghosts are back on Friendship Island as the Spooky Celebration begins on October 2. Halloween’s leading lady, Kuromi, takes the spotlight, guiding players on a witchy trick-or-treat adventure. Collect rewards, dress up, and help Kuromi teach My Melody how to be “just a teeny, tiny bit scary.”
Alongside the spooky fun, the Fall Fashion Frenzy event runs until October 5. Players can unlock returning autumn-themed outfits in cozy colors through daily rewards.
Update 2.10: “City Splendor” (Apple Arcade First)
Apple Arcade players can now dive into Update 2.10: “City Splendor”, with the update coming soon to other platforms. The cheerful Usahana makes her debut on Friendship Island, bringing along a dazzling rainbow mermaid outfit and new activities to enjoy.
Highlights of the update include:
- New Visitor: Kabae, Retsuko’s co-worker, drops by the island in search of juicy gossip.
- New Story Content: Continue Badtz-maru’s quest to catch the uncatchable fish.
- New Flora: Discover a mysterious flower that only grows in a specific region.
- Fresh Activities: Host a rock-a-doodle party and explore the spooky swamp.
