Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have announced that Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows DLC will release on December 4, 2025, for PS5 and PS4. This expansion builds on the cooperative survival experience of Elden Ring Nightreign, adding new Nightfarers, formidable bosses, and a new area filled with ancient ruins and cursed miasma.
Players can pre-purchase the DLC to receive the digital artbook and mini soundtrack, both available immediately after purchase.
Two New Nightfarers Join the Battle
The DLC introduces two additional playable characters:
- Scholar – A master of arcane knowledge who gains combat advantages through battlefield observation.
- Undertaker – An abbess chosen to slay the Nightlord, wielding immense strength and faith to send her enemies to the afterlife.
These characters expand the tactical options for teams of up to three players venturing into the corrupted depths of Limveld.
New Bosses and The Great Hollow
Players will face two new bosses within the Forsaken Hollows. One of the main areas, Shifting Earth: The Great Hollow, is a sprawling underground region lined with ruins, temples, and cursed crystals that drain life from anything nearby. It’s one of the most dangerous additions yet to Nightreign’s evolving map.
The update continues FromSoftware’s push toward large-scale cooperative encounters, mixing exploration with brutal survival mechanics across three-day cycles that culminate in battles with the Nightlord.
