During today’s Wholesome Snack showcase, Spry Fox, known for Triple Town, Alphabear, and Cozy Grove, confirmed that Spirit Crossing, its upcoming cozy MMO, will officially launch on PC via Steam in 2026. Originally announced earlier this year as a Netflix-exclusive mobile title, the PC version marks the studio’s next major step as it prepares to spin out of Netflix and operate independently once again. Spry Fox will self-publish the PC edition, while Netflix continues to handle the mobile version for its members.
Alongside the platform announcement, fans also received a brand-new trailer that highlights the game’s warm aesthetic and community-focused design.
A Gentle MMO About Creativity, Kindness, and Connection
Positioned as a “cozy MMO,” Spirit Crossing doesn’t center on combat or competition. Instead, it focuses on shared experiences, such as fishing at dawn with friends, painting murals together, tending gardens, or simply wandering through shifting biomes in a peaceful fantasy world. The game’s tone leans heavily toward relaxation and collaborative creativity.
Every new player joins a Waystation, a communal hub where friends and strangers work together to decorate, build, and support one another through offerings and acts of kindness. Waystations can also be visited by other communities, allowing for co-op events, dancing, resource gathering, and low-pressure social activities.
