Arkheron Demo Launches February 20 on Steam for Next Fest

Bonfire Studios is opening the doors to its debut title, Arkheron, with a public demo launching February 20 on Steam as part of Steam Next Fest. This marks the first time the fast-paced, competitive PvP action game will be playable by everyone, giving players an early chance to climb the mysterious Tower ahead of its upcoming Closed Beta.

The demo will be available 24/7 throughout Steam Next Fest, running through March 2.

15 Teams. One Tower. No Fixed Roles.

Arkheron throws 15 teams of three into a surreal, ever-escalating Tower packed with deadly monsters and rival squads. The goal is simple: fight your way upward, eliminate the competition, and survive long enough to reach the top.

Unlike traditional hero shooters or role-based PvP games, Arkheron features no fixed heroes or predefined roles. Instead, players shape their builds mid-match by looting powerful items that unlock abilities and alter playstyles. Each floor presents new opportunities to evolve your character, creating dynamic matches where adaptability and teamwork determine survival.

As teams ascend, the pressure mounts. Eventually, only two squads remain facing off in a high-stakes, winner-takes-all showdown at the summit of the Tower.

New Features Arrive with the Next Fest Demo

The Steam Next Fest demo introduces significant updates compared to Arkheron’s previous alpha tests. Among the highlights are two new Eternal Item Sets, expanding the number of viable builds and strategies players can experiment with during their climb.

Bonfire Studios has also implemented a range of gameplay adjustments and content updates to refine the experience ahead of the game’s next development phase. Full patch notes are available on the official Arkheron website.

Closed Beta and Ranked Play Coming Next

Following Steam Next Fest, Bonfire Studios plans to launch a Closed Beta on PC, which will introduce Ranked Play for players looking to test their skills at a higher level.

Players interested in continuing their journey after the demo can sign up for the Closed Beta through Arkheron’s official site.
