Warhammer Survivors is expanding beyond PC, with Auroch Digital confirming the fast-paced roguelite survivors game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam later this year.
Set across both the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar universes, the game mixes bullet hell combat with survivor-style progression, letting players control iconic characters while fighting through massive enemy waves and evolving powerful weapons.
New Warhammer 40,000 characters join the roster
Alongside the console announcement, Auroch Digital also revealed several new playable characters from the Warhammer 40,000 side of the game. Previously announced hero Malum Caedo from Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is joined by Chaplain Fo’Baran of the Salamanders, Knight-Commander Pask, The Legend of Catachan, Marneus Calgar, and Commissar Sebastian Yarrick.
The new roster additions bring a wider range of playstyles, including Pask, who commands a Leman Russ Tank and is described as the game’s largest playable character so far.
New weapons and evolved attacks revealed
Auroch Digital also shared several new weapons coming to Warhammer Survivors. These include the D6 Dice, which deal damage based on a roll, and the Power Fist, which swings around the player in a wide arc.
Several evolved weapons were revealed as well, including the Gauntlets of Ultramar, which fire bolter rounds with each strike, Orbital Bombardment, which calls down a large-scale barrage, and Emperor’s Wrath, which creates a damaging aura around the player.
Orks arrive as a new enemy faction
A new Ork faction will also be part of the game, appearing in the Ork Stronghold stage. Players will face a range of enemy types, including Grots, Ork Boyz, Warbikers, Bomb Squigs, Lootas, and a Big Mek with a Shokk Attack Gun.
The update also introduces Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka as the game’s first Extremis Boss. According to Auroch, the boss fight will feature unique attack patterns and the ability to summon additional Ork hordes into battle.
Launch planned for later this year
Warhammer Survivors is scheduled to launch later this year on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
