According to the reveal, the game is set 23 years after Castlevania: Dracula’s Curse and follows a young Belmont in a new story within the series timeline.
Development team shares more on the game’s direction
Alongside the gameplay trailer, Konami also released a post-show segment featuring members of the development team speaking with the franchise’s Japanese producer.
The segment focuses on the game’s influences, creative direction, and the team’s approach to this new entry. Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is being developed by Konami and Evil Empire, with Motion Twin providing advisory support.
