Airborne Empire has officially launched its 1.0 version on Steam, as developer The Wandering Band and publisher Stray Fawn Publishing bring the aerial RPG city-builder out of Early Access.
The full release marks the completion of the game’s development, with players now able to experience the finalized version of the open-world title. At launch, Airborne Empire is priced at $29.99, with a 50% discount bringing it to $14.99 for a limited time.
A Flying City-Builder Returns in Full
In Airborne Empire, players guide a flying city across the skies while working to unite distant kingdoms. The game blends city-building, role-playing systems, and open-world exploration, with players managing resources, recruiting allies, and upgrading their airborne settlement while defending against threats like sky pirates.
Version 1.0 Adds a New Biome and More Content
The 1.0 update introduces a new snow-covered biome, featuring additional quests, a new boss encounter, and upgrades, such as a jet engine that enables faster traversal. These additions expand on the systems introduced during Early Access.
Early Access Updates Carry Into the Full Release
Throughout its Early Access period, Airborne Empire received multiple updates that added new content and modes, including Hard Mode, Pacifist Mode, Creative Mode, and a 20-stage Survival Mode campaign.
