Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Launches July 9

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will launch worldwide on July 9, 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC through the Ubisoft Store, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft+.

Led by Ubisoft Singapore, Black Flag Resynced is a full remake of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, originally released in 2013. The remake has been rebuilt from the ground up using the latest version of Ubisoft’s Anvil engine.

A Rebuilt Version of Black Flag

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced returns players to the Golden Age of Piracy as Edward Kenway, a pirate captain pulled into the conflict between Assassins and Templars. As Edward chases fortune and power across the Caribbean, he crosses paths with figures like Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, and Calico Jack.

Ubisoft says the remake will feature updated visuals and expanded gameplay systems, including parry-driven combat, improved stealth and parkour, deeper naval mechanics, and new narrative content.
