Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released a new gameplay trailer for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, showing the Genesis Configuration, a new puzzle box players will use in combat and exploration.
The survival horror action game is coming this year to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The Genesis Configuration Shapes Combat and Puzzles
Unlike the classic Lament Configuration, the Genesis Configuration is a tool players can command. Outside combat, it can transform parts of the Labyrinth, open new paths, and help solve puzzles in the mortal world.
In combat, players can gather Suffering from executions and use it to trigger powers like telekinesis, pyrokinesis, and Hell Chains. These abilities let players launch hazards at enemies, burn targets, and tear enemies apart.
A New Story in the Hellraiser Universe
Hellraiser: Revival follows a descent into the underworld to rescue the protagonist’s love from the Cenobites. Players will face cultists, monsters, and other creatures while using the Genesis Configuration alongside more traditional weapons.
The game is available to wishlist now on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
