Fatshark has announced that the Skitarii class is coming to Warhammer 40,000: Darktide on June 23, 2026. Revealed during the Warhammer Skulls 2026 showcase, the new class brings the Adeptus Mechanicus to Hive Tertium with new weapons, customization options, and a non-linear talent tree.
The Skitarii class will be available on all platforms for $11.99.
New Weapons and Customization
Players can customize their Skitarii through material types, augment patterns, Forge World origin, four voice sets, and adjustable voice modulation.
The class also adds Adeptus Mechanicus weapons, including Arc weapons, Phosphor Blasters, Transonic Blades, and Galvanic Rifles.
Servo Skull and New Builds
The Skitarii’s non-linear talent tree supports long-range, melee, and electricity-focused builds. The class also uses core power systems to fuel combat abilities that grow stronger as more power is allocated to them.
Players will also be joined by a las-pistol-wielding servo skull that can attack enemies, heal, use a flamethrower, and execute data interrogation protocols.
More Darktide Updates Coming June 23
The June 23 update also adds a new Expedition area, quality-of-life improvements, balance changes, bug fixes, and new enemies: the Traitor Vanguard and Cultist Vanguard.
A Dark Rites live event is also underway, tasking players with destroying Heretic Idols to unlock rewards and contribute to a community goal.
