Pushing Vertices debuted a new trailer for RollerGirl during the Six One Indie Showcase, showing more of the slice-of-life adventure’s small-town summer setting, 2000s-inspired soundtrack, and character-driven story.
The game follows Naomi, a 16-year-old whose first car breaks down right after she gets it. To earn money for repairs, she grabs her rollerblades and starts doing odd jobs for her neighbors.
Small-Town Jobs, Romance, and Mystery
In RollerGirl, players will explore open streets, find shortcuts, talk to townsfolk, and complete errands around town. Naomi can recover lost items, help eccentric neighbors, meet a first crush, and uncover a local cover-up along the way.
Dialogue and music choices will shape Naomi’s summer, with playlists affecting how the world reacts.
A 2000s-Inspired Soundtrack
Players can collect music around town to expand Naomi’s playlists, building out a soundtrack inspired by the 2000s. The game mixes skating, exploration, and light narrative choices around a laid-back summer vibe.
RollerGirl is available to wishlist now on Steam.
