NIS America has released a free Steam demo for Brigandine Abyss, the new entry in the strategy RPG series. The demo lets players try the first two seasons of the Gran Dragnica and Scarlet Will story campaigns ahead of the game’s August launch.
Save data from the demo will not transfer to the full version.
Two Campaigns Included
In the demo, players can follow Largo as he investigates what is turning dragons into agents of evil, or stand with Garnet and her company as they resist the rising Abyssloa Empire.
The demo introduces the game’s core structure, including the Organization Phase, where players recruit monsters, send troops on quests, and prepare attacks, and the Invasion Phase, where battles play out on hexagonal grids.
A New Brigandine Story
Brigandine Abyss takes place in a new world where the Abyssloa Empire has returned centuries after being stopped by the arcane Brigandine. The full game will include six story campaigns, resource management, monster recruitment, and tactical battles built around skills, elemental attributes, and army growth.
Mission Mode Adds More Replayability
The game also includes Mission Mode, where players can choose from 24 factions, each with its own win conditions. NIS America says the mode is built for both tactical challenge and long-term replayability.
Limited Edition Pre-Orders Open
The Brigandine Abyss Limited Edition is available to pre-order for $89.99 on Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5. It includes the game, the Art from the Abyss artbook, the Anthems of War soundtrack, acrylic stands, a faction symbol pin set, and a cloth map of Meltitea.
