PAX 2012: Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Announced

At PAX Prime 2012, Square Enix made good on its promise that Lightning would indeed strike for a third time with Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. Marking the end of a trilogy, the game will chronicle the last thirteen days of the world of Novus Partus. The Paradigm System, except now players can move Lightning around the battlefield and switch weapons instantaneously. Lightning is fully customizable including her armor and weapons.

Expect Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII for a 2013 release on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
