Silent Hill Downpour Has a Rain Delay Until 2012

Konami revealed today that Silent Hill: Downpour will not release until the first quarter of 2012. No reason was given for the delay but we suspect that this will allow for more breathing room given the busy holiday season.

Eurogamer [via Shacknews] confirmed the delay for Europe but no word has been said for North America although we expect the same delay. The Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 title is developed by Eastern European developer Vatra Games and follow the plot of Murphy Pendleton, a prisoner who finds a spooky town of (of course) Silent Hill after his prison transport crashes.
