NetEase Games and Joker Studio have hoisted the sails on a brand-new gameplay trailer for Sea of Remnants, their upcoming free-to-play ocean adventure RPG set to release in 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. The new footage, titled “Orbtopia Man”, dives into the game’s vibrant island life, mysterious factions, and chaotic port-town antics—all from the perspective of a sailor who’s lost their past.
Unveiled during Summer Game Fest, the trailer builds on Sea of Remnants’ June 4 global reveal, adding more insight into its turn-based island battles, real-time naval combat, and bizarre cast of characters.
Island Life Isn’t Always Easy
While players will venture across vast seas and uncharted islands, Sea of Remnants also offers chaotic downtime in the bustling port city of Orbtopia. In between monster-hunting and faction-altering decisions, you’ll gamble with crooks, brawl with pirates, or indulge in a game of traditional mahjong. As the main character—a puppet-like sailor with amnesia—you’re drawn into a surreal journey across shifting tides, ancient ruins, and the memory currents of sailors long gone.
