Fans of Gloomhaven and brutal strategic RPGs, mark your calendars — Frosthaven, the long-awaited video game adaptation of the record-breaking board game, launches into Early Access on July 31, 2025. Published by Arc Games and developed by Snapshot Games (led by X-COM creator Julian Gollop), Frosthaven brings dark fantasy dungeon-crawling to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, priced at $39.99.
Alongside the launch, Arc Games is also releasing the Frosthaven x Gloomhaven Digital Bundle, offering both digital games in one convenient package.
A New Chapter in Strategy RPGs
Originally designed by Gloomhaven creator Isaac Childres, Frosthaven expands upon its predecessor with an all-new winter-themed setting, enhanced town-building mechanics, and a brand-new cast of playable mercenaries.
Players will lead a squad of adventurers through tactical turn-based missions, manage their own evolving outpost, and face down the harsh environment of the northern frontier — either solo or with friends via online co-op multiplayer.
