Aesir Interactive has launched EverRail in Early Access for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The survival crafting game sends players across the frozen Exomoon Inara, where humanity’s last refuge is a battery-powered train that only generates power while moving.
Players can head out alone or with up to four players in co-op, gathering supplies, rescuing passengers, expanding the train, and fighting to keep the cold from ending humanity’s final run.
First-Person Play and Expanded Areas
EverRail’s Early Access version makes first-person gameplay the default, while third-person remains available.
The launch build also adds more places to scavenge, including abandoned facilities, train stations, and surface encounters. The farther players move from the tracks, the more threats and environmental hazards they will face.
Survival Gets Tougher
Aesir Interactive has expanded the game’s survival systems with hunger, stamina, and cold mechanics.
Passengers now depend on shared rations, making food production and resource planning a bigger part of each run. New consumables, recipes, and exosuit upgrades give players more ways to prepare before leaving the train.
More Weapons and Train Upgrades
Combat has been updated with Assault Rifles, Shotguns, extra weapon variants, and a broader balance pass. Players will also face tougher enemies as they push into later sections.
Train building has grown as well. New crafting stations, storage modules, construction pieces, floor plates, lifts, stairs, a Glider Fabricator, and a Salvager building give players more control over how they build their moving base.
Pricing and Demo Details
EverRail is available now in Early Access for $14.99, with a 10% launch discount for the first two weeks.
The Supporter Edition costs $19.99 and includes the base game, a second train, a second glider, and an exclusive Supporter train and glider skin. Players who own the base version can also buy the Bullet Train & Glider Pack separately for $2.99.
A free demo is also available on Steam for players who want to try EverRail before buying.
