Resident Evil Requiem has officially opened pre-orders across all platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and, for the first time ever, the Epic Games Store. The latest entry in Capcom’s legendary survival horror franchise launches February 27, 2026, with all pre-orders including Grace’s gritty “Apocalypse” costume as a bonus.
Hosted by Resident Evil Village’s Lady Dimitrescu herself, Maggie Robertson, Capcom’s “Road to Requiem” showcase gave fans a deep dive into the franchise’s past and teased what’s next for its future. From exclusive editions to unexpected collaborations, Resident Evil Requiem looks set to bring the series into a terrifying new era.
Two Epic Editions, One Terrifying Experience
Players can choose between the Standard Edition or the Deluxe Edition, with the latter featuring five character costumes, four weapon skins, two screen filters, and more cosmetic items. For collectors, a Premium Steelbook Edition will also be available, bundling the Deluxe Edition with a limited-edition lenticular card.
Capcom Joins Epic Games Store with a Fortnite Crossover
For the first time in Capcom history, Resident Evil arrives on the Epic Games Store, and to celebrate, players who pre-order Resident Evil Requiem there will unlock exclusive Fortnite collaboration items, including the Grace outfit. More details on the crossover will arrive following the game’s release.
Nintendo Switch 2 and Amiibo Surprises Await
Fans of Nintendo’s new hardware will have plenty to look forward to. A limited-edition Resident Evil Requiem Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, styled in sleek gunmetal black, launches day-and-date with the game. Capcom also revealed the series’ first-ever amiibo, featuring Grace, set to release in Summer 2026.
Additionally, Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition will launch on Switch 2 the same day as Requiem, both bundled together in the Resident Evil Generation Pack, which also includes the new game.
More Horrors on the Horizon
Fans can expect another Resident Evil Showcase early next year, promising an even deeper look at the story, gameplay, and new threats awaiting in Requiem. Between its new engine upgrades, expanded platforms, and bold crossovers, 2026 is shaping up to be a monumental year for Resident Evil fans.
