Enter the Chronosphere Enters Steam Early Access on May 14

Effort Star and Joystick Ventures have announced that Enter the Chronosphere will launch into Steam Early Access on May 14, 2026. The tactical bullet hell will be priced at $14.99 during Early Access.

The game follows a simple but strong hook: nothing moves unless the player moves. Bullets, enemies, and hazards freeze between actions, giving players time to plan before everything resumes at once.

Bullet Hell Meets Turn-Based Tactics

In Enter the Chronosphere, players can shoot, move, reload, dodge roll, or use abilities while enemies and bullets react at the same time. The result mixes bullet hell pressure with tactical decision-making, letting players read the battlefield before making each move.

Each run begins by choosing between three procedurally generated chronospheres, each with different missions and modifiers.

Characters, Biomes, and Builds

Early Access will include five biomes, each with its own weapons, gear, bosses, and challenges. Players can choose from characters including Marcia, Urtar, and Lillypilly, with additional abilities and tactics unlocking over time.

The game also features a between-run hub called The Starseer, where players can unlock new abilities, threats, and secrets.
