Minos will launch on April 9 for PC, Devolver Digital and developer Artificer announced. The strategy puzzle game reimagines the Greek myth of the Minotaur by putting players in control of the labyrinth itself.
In the game, players protect Asterion, the cursed ruler better known as the Minotaur, from invading heroes seeking fame and glory. Rather than escaping the maze, players will shape it, using walls, gates, and corridors to stop intruders from reaching their target.
Build and control the labyrinth
Minos centers on labyrinth-building gameplay, allowing players to drag and place walls, corridors, and gates to create paths through the maze. Players can design longer routes, split enemy groups, and use shifting layouts to confuse and trap heroes as they advance.
The labyrinth itself plays a central role in the game’s story, with Daedalus appearing as its creator. Players will feed the sentient maze with the blood of fallen adventurers while uncovering more about both Daedalus and Asterion.
New traps, enemies, and runs each night
Each run in Minos introduces new enemies, traps, and combinations, giving players new ways to defend the Minotaur’s sanctuary. The game is built around repeatable runs, with changing threats and layouts shaping how each night unfolds.
As players continue, they will learn more about the cursed Minotaur and the story behind the labyrinth.
