Arc Games and Snapshot Games have announced that Frosthaven will officially launch on October 15, 2026, for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The digital adaptation of Isaac Childres and Cephalofair Games’ board game has been in Early Access, where Snapshot Games has used player feedback to refine onboarding, multiplayer, UI, quality-of-life features, and campaign content.
Full Campaign Arrives at Launch
The 1.0 release will include the complete Frosthaven story campaign from the tabletop game, including its final chapter. The full launch will also add the final playable hero, bringing the roster to all 17 classes.
Snapshot Games is also adding a new opening cinematic, hero unlock videos, and a fully implemented Codex covering the game’s lore, characters, creatures, biomes, and other details.
Better Onboarding and Co-Op
Frosthaven’s full release will expand the digital-only Road to Frosthaven introduction, which is designed to help new players learn the game’s systems before heading into the full campaign.
The launch version will also include improved multiplayer, networking upgrades, UI changes, and a standalone demo built around the Road to Frosthaven campaign for players who want to try the game first.
House Rules Coming to 1.0
One of the bigger additions is House Rules, letting players adjust parts of the experience to better match their preferred playstyle.
That should make the digital version more flexible for groups used to customizing their tabletop sessions while still keeping the core Frosthaven structure intact.
From Early Access to 1.0
Cephalofair Games CEO and Frosthaven creator Isaac Childres praised Snapshot’s adaptation, saying the team stayed close to the board game while improving onboarding and user experience for both new and returning players.
Snapshot Games CEO Julian Gollop also noted the challenge of adapting such a deep tabletop game while working closely with Childres and Cephalofair.
