GRYPHLINE has announced that Arknights: Endfield will receive its latest update, Sketches of Lost Heirlooms, on June 5, 2026. The free update expands the game with new story content, playable characters, gameplay systems, and quality-of-life additions.
According to producer Light Zhong, the team has continued focusing on updates and improvements based on community feedback, with additional adjustments to combat systems and factory management.
New Region Opens in Talos-II
The update introduces Sword Vault Dale, a newly accessible region within Talos-II. Players will explore long-lost ruins, broken structures, and floating cliffs while investigating the mysteries surrounding the “Lost Heirlooms” alongside the Wuling Watch.
Two New Characters Join the Roster
Two new playable characters are arriving as part of the update.
Mi Fu, available when the update launches on June 5, serves as captain of the Wuling Watch and appears in the A Fistful of Reflections narrative event. She fights as a high-mobility Physical Guard capable of chaining attacks and skills into continuous combo strings.
Camille will arrive later in the update cycle. A Keeper for Seš’qa tasked with internal investigations, he stars in the Danse Macabre event and acts as a Heat Vanguard focused on boosting squad rotations and combo attacks.
Contingency Contract Makes Its Endfield Debut
The update also brings Contingency Contract into Arknights: Endfield, adapting the long-running challenge mode from the broader Arknights universe. Players can activate different modifiers to alter combat conditions and increase difficulty, placing more emphasis on strategy and team composition.
Factory and Progression Improvements Added
Several requested quality-of-life updates are also included. New automation tools such as Backup Power reduce factory interruptions, while additions like Bulk Artificing, Weapon Batch Dismantling, and Perfect Match labels aim to streamline progression systems and reduce time spent navigating menus. UI improvements and Daily Task changes are also part of the update.
Arknights: Endfield is currently available on PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices.
