Arknights: Endfield will receive its new At the Wake of Spring update on April 17, 2026, publisher Gryphline announced.
The free update pushes forward the Wuling storyline with a major new chapter, a direct confrontation with Nefarith, a new playable Operator, additional exploration content, and expanded industrial systems.
Wuling’s story moves into open conflict
In At the Wake of Spring, the story begins with an urgent message from Zhuang Fangyi after Ardashir suddenly appears in the new Marker Stone area, a key facility tied to Wuling’s stability.
At the same time, Nefarith moves into direct conflict, leading to players’ first direct battle against her as the crisis in Wuling escalates. The update positions this as a major turning point in the game’s ongoing story.
Zhuang Fangyi becomes playable
The update also marks the playable debut of Zhuang Fangyi, who has already been a central figure in the Wuling storyline.
According to Gryphline, she uses Electric damage and fights with a style that combines lightning-based attacks with swordplay.
New areas and industrial systems expand the update
Beyond the new story chapter, At the Wake of Spring adds more map content and exploration in Wuling. Gryphline says Test Area will open later in the update cycle, with players taking part in restoration work, puzzle-solving, and deeper regional exploration.
The patch also expands the game’s industrial side with a new outpost, new resources, and new production options, building further on Arknights: Endfield’s mix of combat, exploration, and infrastructure management.
More events, rewards, and quality-of-life changes included
The update also includes new event content, permanent gameplay updates, additional player rewards, and a range of quality-of-life improvements across progression, combat, and industrial management.
Arknights: Endfield is a free-to-play game with cross-platform progression set in the Arknights universe, combining squad-based real-time combat, exploration, character progression, and large-scale base-building on Talos-II.
