Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released Mask of Idris, the first expansion for Code Vein II. The DLC is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Mask of Idris adds a new history-altering story, new areas, and new combat challenges. The expansion is also included in the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of Code Vein II.
A New Post-Game Campaign
Mask of Idris sends players into a new setting shaped by timelines that vanished after historical changes. At its center is a massive spindle that draws emotions from across time and space, creating a threat that could reach the main timeline.
The expansion also introduces Liv Voda, a guardian of time and space with a combative edge.
Players will need to meet specific requirements before starting the DLC. Mask of Idris is post-game content and requires the Luna Fraterna ending, along with completion of the sub-mission Valentin’s Request.
Free Update Version 2.0 Also Arrives
Bandai Namco is launching Free Update Version 2.0 alongside Mask of Idris. The update will add content that lets players explore with their partners after the main story.

Code Vein II Continues
Code Vein II builds on the first game’s action RPG combat with Blood Codes, Jails, partner-based combat, and character customization. Players use blood drained from enemies to gain skills, refine builds, and take on bosses across past and present timelines.
