Good Smile Company has released the third official trailer for Mobile Police Patlabor the Case Files, the upcoming 3D action game launching in Summer 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC.
The new trailer shows the game’s three main modes, fully voiced story scenes, and new footage featuring Special Vehicles Section 2 Division 2. Good Smile Company also opened a second round of pre-orders for the limited Special Edition and confirmed that the trailer will screen at Anime Expo 2026.
Three Modes Shown in New Trailer
Mobile Police Patlabor the Case Files lets players relive key moments from the Mobile Police Patlabor series through 3D action missions.
The latest trailer highlights three primary modes: Main Mission, Another Side Mission, and Simulator Mode. Story missions can be played from the perspective of Special Vehicles Section 2 and the opposing side, while Simulator Mode includes shooting practice and Labor-versus-Labor battles.
Players will be able to pilot more than 20 Labors, including Ingram, Griffon, and Type Zero.
Special Edition Pre-Orders Return
Due to demand, Good Smile Company has opened a second pre-order wave for the Special Edition. This limited release includes the exclusive Moderoid Griffon the Case Files Color Ver. plastic model kit.
First-print copies also include an Original Soundtrack CD with 30 tracks, including the opening theme, “the Case Files,” newly composed by Kenji Kawai. The Special Edition is available only through the Good Smile Company Online Store as a made-to-order item, and pre-orders may close before launch due to limited production.
