Serenity Forge has revealed Faraday Blues, a surreal sci-fi adventure and strategy card game coming to PC, Xbox, and PlayStation in 2027.
Announced during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2026 Broadcast, Faraday Blues follows a daughter searching for parents who have no memory of her existence, with player decisions altering events across multiple timelines.
Rewrite the Faraday Family’s Past
Players can explore the Faraday family apartment to find lost memories and collect character cards tied to its interconnected story.
Players can then use those cards to reset the timeline and revisit major events from different perspectives.
The story plays out across three connected visual novels, each taking place in a different era and using its own visual style.
Choices Lead to 64 Endings
Player decisions can change characters and their actions across each timeline.
Those changes carry forward through the larger story, with 64 possible endings based on the decisions made along the way.
Players can also reach a hidden fourth timeline as they piece together what happened to the Faraday family.
Strategy Cards Shape the Timeline
Faraday Blues combines its visual novel structure with strategic card play.
Character cards let players influence events, reset key moments, and approach situations from another perspective.
The system ties directly into the narrative, making the cards part of how players alter the past and simulate different outcomes.
Serenity Forge Leads Development
Faraday Blues is developed and published by Serenity Forge.
Game director Zhenghua Yang and Satchely, the character artist behind Doki Doki Literature Club, co-created the project. Nichole Goodnight, known for voicing the Princess in Slay the Princess, also voices a character in the game.
Music comes from Cyanide & Happiness creator Kris Wilson.
Faraday Blues launches for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation in 2027.
