New Tales and Emeteria have launched Fading Echo for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The action-adventure RPG is available now for $19.99, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions planned for later this year.
Fading Echo follows One, a young Legend with the power of Æther, who can shift between human and water blob forms while facing a multiverse crisis caused by a force known as the Paradox.
Water Shapes Combat and Exploration
Fading Echo builds its systems around water and elemental reactions. Players can turn into water to move through environments, find hidden paths, solve puzzles, and create openings in combat.
Water, vapor, terrain, enemies, and elemental forces react to one another, giving players room to experiment rather than follow one fixed answer.
Corel and the Echoverse
One’s story begins in Corel, a fractured reality made up of floating islands, unstable portals, old civilizations, and strange creatures.
As players move through Aetheric portals, each area changes the rules. Environments react to One’s abilities, ecosystems shift, and ancient technology creates new problems to solve.
A Cast of Heroes and Strange Allies
One will meet allies, family members, ancient mysteries, and at least one flying whale along the way.
The English voice cast includes Samantha Béart, Laura Bailey, Matt Mercer, Liam O’Brien, Sam Riegel, and Jasmine Bhullar. The soundtrack comes from Maxwell Sterling.
