‘Turn Based RPG’ Arc Rise Fantasia Coming to Nintendo Wii

It has been a while coming since the Nintendo Wii had an JRPG exclusive to claim as their own. Ignition Entertainment has announced Arc Rise Fantasia, a Japanese turn based RPG, coming exclusively to the Nintendo Wii in Summer 2010.

The game features protagonist L’Arc, a mercenary tasked to defend the Meridian Empire from an invasion of deadly ferocious creatures. Players will assemble a party of friends and traverse through the overworld filled with enemy encounters and dungeon crawling.

The turn based gameplay will allow for players to queue up attacks, summon mystical creatures, and work with your party to unleash massive damage.

We look forward to providing coverage of this game in the months to come. Especially given the repertoire of Ignition Entertainment’s work in bringing a Japanese title to a western audience. I hope my enthusiasm resonates with the populace on this one.
