Back to Wonderland for Alice: Madness Returns

American McGee has signed on to the EA Partners program to publish and distribute the sequel to Alice. The title is unveiled today with a look at the madness of Wonderland.

Set 10 years after the first game with Alice struggling to recover from her family’s death. The game will jump from a “gloomy and stark London” to a “rich and provocative Wonderland.” American McGee explained that Alice: Madness Returns “takes this colorful world and reinvents it with psychotic personalities and pervasive insanity.”

Under the direction of Spicy Horse development studio, the game is set for a 2011 release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Screenshots and a teaser trailer follow below.
