New Max Payne 3 Screens Hit With Hard Facts

R* sent a batch of new screens for Max Payne 3 today that show off the Euphoria based engine for the game. Utilizing the Euphoria engine, in contrast, stock animations are replaced by natural movements when engaging in bullet-time and interacting with the environment.

James McCaffrey is returning to the series as the lead VA for Max Payne 3 and additionally providing motion capture for the main character, Max. Sidekicks and partner characters will also be emphasized as “hundreds of hours” were put into motion capture as well as animating enemy movements. Included in the threequel is the return of Bullet Cam, for the kills you just want to see up-close and in slow motion.

While Rockstar is still hesitant to announce a release date for Max Payne 3, considering its many delays thus far and development struggles, but we eagerly await more details from the game.
