Gamescom ’11: Digital Reality Announces Black Knight Sword, Grasshopper At The Helm

Grasshopper Manufacture secretly showed off a new game at Gamescom without telling anyone prior, or at least we didn’t know about it. The Japanese studio headed by Suda 51 announced Black Knight Sword, a throwback to the old school side-scrolling action games. In co-development with Digital Reality, a small European publisher that’s rising the ranks globally, the publisher hopes players nostalgic for a time when challenging and addictive gameplay ran the scene will return to check out Black Knight Sword.

The premise? Pretty simple, join the Black Knight in a fairy tale quest to defeat the Evil White Princess in vintage Grasshopper/Suda 51 style.
