Konami has announced the follow up to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The sequel promises to expand upon the storyline with new villains and visuals. The game is expected for release in 2013. Developer MercurySteam is working on the new title, this time without the consultation from director Hideo Kojima.
Previously, [SPOILER ALERT] the origin of Dracula and connection with the Belmonts was revealed. Dracula returns in Lords of Shadow 2, weakened and yearning from release from his immortal bonds. The vampire lord must require his old powers and the key lies within his castle.
