Wolcen Studio, formerly known as Solarfall Games, announced today that its open-world RPG – Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is expected to release on Steam Early Access for Windows PCs on March 24.
Successfully crowdfunded as Umbra, Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem Early Access program will introduce players to its progression systems, hack-and-slash gameplay, and story. The studio has committed to updating Wolcen throughout its Early Access phase, which includes Apocalyptic Form, a combat mechanic used to “evolve their (character’s) special abilities and appearance according to each individual’s play style.” Other planned gameplay additions include co-op, armor and weapon crafting, player housing and transforming those housings into community dungeons.
