The video game-based crowdfunding website Fig has offically been granted SEC Qualification, meaning all fans can financially support their favorite games on the platform. As the first crowd-funding platform to do so, Fig is now letting fans back the games they’re interested in, with rewards and investment-based funding opportunities available to anyone, including non-accredited investors (everyone).
Games like Make Sail and Wasteland 3 will boast these services immediately, thanks to the fan support behind the enormous Psychonauts 2 campaign.
