The next installment in the EDF spin-off series, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, is set to release on September 26th.
It will be available on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, and Nintendo Switch. A release date trailer showcases what happens to the voxel cube Earth after the events of the first game and introduces an all-new enemy that threatens to destroy the Earth once again.
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 features 4-player team battles and brings in new elements from Earth Defense Force 6, including the Wing Diver Shooter class, as well as over 100 unique characters and missions.
PlayStation owners can pre-order the game now, and PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive a 10% discount and additional characters as a reward. Nintendo Switch pre-orders are coming soon.
