Fantasian Neo Dimension Update Adds Custom Difficulty & Camera Fixes

Square Enix has dropped a new update for Fantasian Neo Dimension, the single-player RPG from legendary developer Hironobu Sakaguchi (Final Fantasy) and composer Nobuo Uematsu. The patch brings gameplay refinements, camera improvements, and a new difficulty customization feature for New Game+.

The update is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

Patch Highlights: What’s New?

Improved Movement Controls – Adjustments to directional input when moving through areas with shifting camera angles.
Camera Rotation Customization – Players can now tweak camera rotation timing in the settings.
New Game+ Custom Difficulty – Adjust enemy offense, defense, and speed in subsequent playthroughs.
Faster Skips – The hold duration for Fast Forward and Skip has been reduced.
Vibration Settings – Toggle controller vibration in the options menu.

Bug Fixes & Stability Updates

PlayStation 5 Fixes:

  • Resolved an issue where controller inputs stopped responding under certain conditions.
  • Fixed a crash bug that would occasionally cause the game to close unexpectedly.

With these quality-of-life updates, now’s a great time to jump into Fantasian Neo Dimension or start a New Game+ run with custom difficulty settings. The update is live now on all platforms.
