Nexon has rolled out a new major update for Blue Archive titled “Secret Midnight Party: The Chimes of Tag”, bringing with it a new story arc set at Millennium Science School, two brand-new student recruits in cozy pajama outfits, and a heap of event rewards. On top of that, the dev team is prepping for a live panel at Anime Expo 2025 to talk all things Blue Archive—from future updates to behind-the-scenes development stories.
Pajama Party at Millennium
The latest in-game update, running from June 10 (post-maintenance) to June 24 at 1:59 AM (UTC), introduces new recruitable students:
- Yuuka (Pajamas) – A defense-shredding specialist who deals damage to a single enemy and reduces their DEF, especially effective against Light Armor units.
- Noa (Pajamas) – Delivers sustained single-target damage through a Weakness Detection debuff that amplifies follow-up attacks up to 240 times, with each hit dealing damage based on her ATK. (Note: This bonus damage doesn’t crit.)
Players can progress through a new story event and collect special currencies to trade for various rewards and upgrades, making this one of Blue Archive’s more content-rich updates of the year.
Blue Archive Live Panel at AX 2025
In addition to the in-game festivities, Blue Archive will be featured at Anime Expo 2025 with the panel “Blue Archive: Dev Talk Live at AX 2025.” Expect new reveals, future content previews, and special dev-only insights shared by the team, plus surprises for fans who attend in person.
