13Z: The Zodiac Trials, the upcoming roguelike from Mixed Realms, made a splash at the Southeast Asian Games Showcase: Summer Game Fest Edition with a brand-new trailer showcasing its first playable characters and fast-paced combat. Selected as one of just 40 titles from over 300 entries across Southeast Asia, 13Z stood out with its striking visual style, mythology-inspired themes, and intense gameplay.
Playable either solo or in 2–4 player online co-op, 13Z puts players in the role of animal spirits battling through demonic hordes and the 12 Zodiac Guardians. The goal? Defeat the Guardians and claim your place as the mythical 13th Zodiac.
Eastern Myths Meet High-Octane Action
Mixed Realms—best known for Sairento VR, Hellsweeper VR, and Gordian Quest—brings its signature energy and design chops to 13Z, blending stylized environments with combat inspired by both modern roguelikes and traditional hack-and-slash brawlers. The newly released trailer highlights the first two playable spirits in action, showing off a mix of aerial maneuvers, powerful finishers, and enemy-splitting combos.
Set in a world heavily influenced by Eastern mythology, players will face off against a roster of demons and elemental beasts across procedurally generated zones. Every run challenges players to build new synergies, experiment with different spirit abilities, and survive increasingly punishing combat trials.
