Nexon has officially launched Arcana: Faith and Fury, the latest summer content update for their long-running free-to-play MMORPG Mabinogi. The update introduces two new Arcana talents — Sacred Guardian and Explosive Vanguard — along with new questlines, talent rebalancing, and a host of seasonal events designed to supercharge your Milletian’s power level.
With a massive new storyline and dungeon arriving in August, the Faith and Fury update is just the first step in Mabinogi’s ambitious summer roadmap.
New Arcana Talents: Defense or Detonation?
Sacred Guardian merges the Holy Arts and Warrior talents to create a highly defensive class that protects allies, redirects incoming damage, and enhances survivability in group content. Key abilities include:
- Pledge of Penance
- Provoke
- Martyr’s Consecration
On the other hand, Explosive Vanguard combines Gunslinger and Lance talents to deliver devastating AoE damage with Mana Shells and Mana Pressure. Players can unleash:
- Relentless Thrust
- Blast Zone
- Blaze of Glory
Both talents benefit from Arcana Link Effects, which scale through 10 levels and provide stat boosts as players progress.
Arcana Progression Expands
With the addition of these two new talents, the Total Arcana Level cap increases to 250, offering deeper character progression and expanded combat potential. A new Arcana Achievement Questline also helps players — especially newcomers — jumpstart their journey with clear goals and powerful rewards.
Nexon has also rolled out buffs and balance tweaks for all four pre-existing Arcana talents, refining the talent system and making room for new synergies in builds.
