Hell is about to get divine intervention. Indie developer Tale Era Interactive has officially announced that Holy Shoot, their high-octane, roguelike first-person shooter, will enter Early Access on July 30, 2025, exclusively on Steam.
A Heavenly Arsenal vs. Hell’s Worst
Set in a chaotic, satirical version of Hell, Holy Shoot puts players in the holy boots of a member of The Order of the Sanctum, a celestial force tasked with reclaiming seven ancient relics from demon lords that embody the Seven Deadly Sins. This means facing off against twisted manifestations of Lust, Greed, Wrath, and more, each with their own hellish domain and brutal boss mechanics.
Combat in Holy Shoot is fast, frenetic, and layered with roguelite depth. Players can expect procedurally generated levels, randomized loot drops, and scaling difficulty that adapts to how long you can survive. You’ll be juggling elemental abilities, environmental hazards, and tight, tactical firefights in arenas teeming with enemies straight from the infernal imagination.
