Kyoto-based indie studio Q-Games is doubling down on its signature blend of audio-visual artistry and genre-defying design with the announcement that Dreams of Another and PixelJunk Eden 2 will both launch on October 10, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PS VR2, and Steam. Pre-orders for the Dreams of Another + PixelJunk Eden 2 Special Bundle are live now on the PlayStation Store, with early access and bonus content available to fans who jump in early.
A Double Dose of Dreamlike Gameplay
Directed by multimedia artist Baiyon, Dreams of Another is a surreal, meditative narrative adventure starring “The Man in Pajamas” and designed to be experienced in both flat-screen and VR formats. It’s a spiritual evolution of Q-Games’ artistic ambitions, drawing from Baiyon’s background in visual design and electronic music to create a deeply personal journey through an ever-shifting dream world.
Launching alongside it is PixelJunk Eden 2, a sequel to the cult classic 2008 title, bringing the series’ signature rhythmic platforming and abstract garden-growing visuals to PS4, PS5, and Steam for the first time. Originally a Nintendo Switch exclusive, this marks the first time the game will be playable outside the platform, and with enhanced visuals and performance to match.
Bundle Bonuses and Early Access
Players can pre-order the Dreams of Another + PixelJunk Eden 2 Special Bundle now to receive:
- Two exclusive pajama outfits for Dreams of Another
- 72-hour early access beginning October 7
- A set of five PlayStation avatars
Both games will be available individually as well, but the bundle offers a curated entry point into Q-Games’ artistic universe with some neat perks for fans of their unique vision.
Playable at BitSummit 2025
Q-Games is also bringing Dreams of Another to this weekend’s BitSummit 2025 (July 18–20), Japan’s biggest indie game event, which they also help organize. Attendees can play the PS5 version at the PlayStation and Q-Games booths, while the PS VR2 version will be available at the XR YOKOCHO booth, hosted by G-Smash.
Players who demo the game can also enter a special lottery giveaway for a chance to win an exclusive event T-shirt. Additionally, Baiyon and PlayStation’s Shawne Benson will take the stage on Saturday, July 19 (11:55 AM–12:25 PM) for the PlayStation Indie Game Showcase.
