Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion Reveals Fusion System and Heavy Armor in New Gameplay Trailers

Marvelous USA has dropped two brand-new gameplay videos for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, the dark sci-fi action sequel launching on September 5, 2025, for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. These new videos highlight two of the game’s boldest mechanics yet, the Fusion system and Heavy Armor deployment, giving players a look at the transformative power and combat versatility they’ll wield when Titanic Scion lands this fall.

Fans attending gamescom 2025 will also get a chance to try the game themselves during the convention, with a hands-on demo available at the Marvelous Europe booth from August 20–24 in Cologne, Germany.

Become More Than Human with the Fusion System

In the new Fusion System gameplay video, players witness the process of absorbing “Immortal Factors” from fallen enemies and merging them into their own bodies. These factors fall into three categories—Might, Shell, and Skeleton—each unlocking a suite of special abilities. As players continue to evolve, their bodies become more monstrous in appearance, pushing the boundaries of humanity and power. Want to return to your original form? It’ll cost you—both in in-game currency and in the loss of everything you’ve gained.

Crush Your Enemies with Heavy Armor

The second trailer shows off the new Heavy Armor, a deployable battle suit that can turn the tide of even the toughest fights. When the Call Gauge is full, players can summon this tank-like behemoth to rain destruction down on the battlefield. It’s slower than your nimble Arsenal mech, but with brute force and defensive prowess to spare, it’s a true ace-in-the-hole for the game’s high-stakes encounters.

About the Game

Created by Kenichiro Tsukuda with mechanical designs by Shoji Kawamori, Titanic Scion evolves the original’s frenetic mech action with a deeper, more customizable gameplay loop. From co-op missions and massive biome exploration to horseback traversal and moral choices that shape your physical form, this sequel looks to redefine what a mecha action game can be.
