Developer Galaxy Grove (Station to Station) and publisher Kwalee (The Precinct) have announced that Town to City, their upcoming cozy voxel city builder, will launch into Early Access on September 16.
Town to City combines a glowing amber-shaded voxel art style with gridless, freeform city building, letting players design towns and transportation systems that flow naturally with the landscape.
From Village Paths to Thriving Cities
Unlike many traditional city builders that rely on strict grids, Town to City emphasizes organic growth. Roads curve naturally, houses and shops form seamless neighborhoods, and transport lines connect people in ways that feel fluid and believable.
The developers describe it as a city builder where your town doesn’t just look alive, it feels alive. From winding pathways to interconnected hubs, your designs become the backbone of a bustling, self-sustaining city.
A Cozy Voxel World to Shape Your Way
Town to City has already struck a chord with players through its free demo on Steam, which received an overwhelmingly positive response. Its warm voxel aesthetic and approachable systems appeal to fans of both creative sandboxes and management sims.
Early Access will allow players to dive into building and experimenting while shaping the game’s future with feedback. Expect regular updates as Galaxy Grove continues refining the systems and adding new features to deepen the experience.
When to Play Town to City
Town to City launches in Early Access on September 16, 2025, for PC via Steam. The free demo remains available now, so players can get a head start on building their dream towns ahead of release.
