Aya Games has announced that the launch of its dark and dreamlike narrative platformer, Ayasa: Shadows of Silence, has been delayed. Originally scheduled for September 25, the game will now release on October 29, 2025, for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
A Word from Aya Games
In an official statement, the studio shared:
“We are truly sorry for the delay. The support and excitement you have shown for our very first game has been humbling and deeply motivating for our entire team at Aya Games.
From the beginning, our goal has been to create an experience that not only meets, but exceeds your expectations. To achieve that, we need a bit more time to ensure every detail is crafted with the care it deserves.
We are incredibly grateful for your patience, encouragement, and belief in what we are building. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.”
A Wordless Tale of Light and Darkness
Inspired by the philosophical worlds of René Laloux, the allegories of Robert Sahakyants, and the fantastical touches of Hayao Miyazaki and Tim Burton, Ayasa: Shadows of Silence tells its story entirely without dialogue. Instead, it relies on pantomime, imagery, and Komitas-inspired music to guide players through its narrative.
Players will follow Ayasa across fractured realms shaped by opposing moral forces: Love, Faith, and Hope standing against Greed, Betrayal, and Indifference. The choices you make along the way will determine Ayasa’s fate—towards redemption and balance, or ruin and tyranny.
Key Gameplay Features

A Journey Through Conscience
“This is not just a story about war, it is a poetic journey through conscience, where the greatest battle lies within,” said Edgar Janoyan, CEO of Aya Games. “We wanted to create an experience without words, where music, imagery, and play itself tell the story.”
A free demo of Ayasa: Shadows of Silence is available now on Steam, with console versions planned for a later date.
