Team Ninja has unveiled new details on Ninja Gaiden 4, including its fully reimagined difficulty and accessibility systems designed to welcome both newcomers and series veterans. Players will be able to select from three core difficulties: Hero, Normal, and Hard, with additional support features like Auto Evade, Auto Block, and Auto Assist to help new players learn the ropes.
For longtime fans looking for a true test of skill, Ninja Gaiden 4 will also feature Purgatory trials and the infamous Master Ninja difficulty, offering brutal challenges that embody the franchise’s reputation for intensity.
Deluxe Edition and DLC Content
Alongside the base game, the Deluxe Edition of Ninja Gaiden 4 will include the upcoming story DLC, The Two Masters, plus a selection of additional character skins. Players who preorder will receive the exclusive Dark Dragon Descendant Yakumo cosmetic set, giving them a stylish head start on day one.

Ninja Gaiden 4 launches October 21, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and PlayStation 5, and will be available day one with Xbox Game Pass.
