Aggro Crab, the quirky Seattle-based team behind Another Crab’s Treasure, Going Under, and the upcoming PEAK, has announced their next chaotic project: Crashout Crew. This cooperative forklift game will have players working together to wrangle physics-based packages in a warehouse full of hazards, questionable safety standards, and plenty of laughs.
Forklift Frenzy with Friends
In Crashout Crew, up to four players clock in at De Nile Shipping, the “most efficient” warehouse in the world. Efficiency is a stretch, though, as players scramble to deliver increasingly absurd orders while dodging hazards and avoiding a total crash-out. With physics-based chaos at the core, every job is an unpredictable mess of boxes, teamwork, and forklift-powered disasters.
First Look at Steam Next Fest
Fans won’t have to wait long to try it out. A playable demo will be available on October 13 as part of Steam Next Fest. The demo includes the first three contracts (levels), which can be made harder with optional Safety Violations—warehouse modifiers that ramp up the chaos, like blackouts or environmental hazards. Players can also visit the in-game shop to upgrade forklifts and warehouses between shifts.
Born From Chaos
Crashout Crew began as one of Aggro Crab’s 2025 game jam experiments. While some of the team developed PEAK alongside Landfall, the rest dove into making this offbeat co-op experience. After the studio’s recent cancellation of Going Under 2, Crashout Crew is now shaping up to be a signature example of Aggro Crab’s trademark blend of humor and unpredictable gameplay.
Features at a Glance
- Online co-op physics chaos for 1–4 players
- Unique contracts filled with absurd, physics-based boxes
- Upgrade forklifts and warehouses for each contract
- Optional “Safety Violations” to make levels even tougher
- Stress management system—don’t crash out, or make life harder for your teammates
When Can You Play?
Crashout Crew is scheduled to ship on Steam in 2026, with more details to follow. For now, players can get their hands on the demo during Steam Next Fest, starting October 13.
