PLAYISM has announced that Maid Cafe on Electric Street, the heartwarming maid cafe adventure from Shanghai-based indie developer Adventurer’s Tavern, will launch on Nintendo Switch on February 26, 2026. Originally released on Steam in 2024 to Very Positive user reviews, this charming slice-of-life adventure invites players to manage a struggling maid cafe in Osaka’s otaku hub of Nipponbashi.
With its adorable pixel art, cozy atmosphere, and strong sense of place, Maid Cafe on Electric Street captures the unique magic of Japan’s maid cafe culture now portable for the first time on Switch.
From Burnout to a New Beginning
Players take on the role of a weary office worker who quits a toxic job and stumbles upon Fuwa Fuwa Cafe, a run-down maid cafe in need of new management. With the help of four lively maids, Shiro, Miyu, Favna, and Honoka, players will rebuild the cafe, strengthen relationships, and revitalize the Electric Street neighborhood.
