Arc System Works America has announced that Damon and Baby, a new action-adventure game blending exploration and technical twin-stick combat, will launch in early 2026 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Players can add the game to their PlayStation Store and Steam wishlists starting today, alongside a newly released teaser trailer.
Shooting Action Meets Exploration
Damon and Baby combine fast-paced shooting with in-depth exploration. You’ll alternate between two key phases:
- Base Phase – Strengthen the demon king Damon, upgrade weapons, and purchase items.
- Exploration Phase – Battle enemies across expansive stages and uncover new paths as the story progresses.
Strategic Battles and Customization
Combat mixes close-range handgun attacks with long-range weapon options like machine guns. Players can discover stronger weapons and use environmental gimmicks to turn the tide in boss battles. Damon’s abilities and skills can be customized to suit your preferred playstyle, and his appearance can be changed through unlockable outfits.
Two-Player Local Co-Op
A second player can take control of Damon’s canine companion, Baby, to assist in combat, gather items, and add a cooperative layer to exploration available exclusively through local offline play.
