Bandai Namco has announced the first DLC for Super Robot Wars Y, titled Contract from the Darkness, launching on November 21. The update adds new playable units and characters from Galaxy Cyclone Braiger, The Big O, and Fuuto PI: The Portrait of Kamen Rider Skull, alongside new area missions.
Players who purchased the Collector’s Edition, Digital Ultimate Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, or DLC Pack 1 & 2 set can jump in early on November 19.
Free Update Coming November 17
Ahead of the DLC release, Super Robot Wars Y will also receive a free update on November 17. This update includes:
- New Special Mission: “Battle Rush”
- EX Level Pilot Skills
- DLC 1 Mission 1: “A Smile on the Street Corner”
- Additional system and gameplay improvements
These additions aim to keep the game’s tactical combat new and challenging while expanding pilot customization options.
Continuing the Fight
Super Robot Wars Y continues the series’ tradition of crossover strategy and storytelling, uniting anime’s most iconic mechs and heroes in tactical battles across time and space. With the first DLC on the horizon and a second pack confirmed, the game’s post-launch support looks strong heading into 2026.
